Watch out for

- Commercial rights depend on your plan; read the terms
- Fine editing of a finished song is limited
Suno is an AI music generator. Describe a style, mood or subject, or paste your own lyrics, and it produces a finished song with instruments and vocals.
What is current
Suno introduced v6 on September 9, 2026 as a new generation of music models. It comes as v6 (flagship, for Pro and Premier), v6-wild (more exploratory, for Pro and Premier) and v6-mini (faster, for everyone). See our news summary and the model tracker.
How prompting works
Name the genre, instruments, vocal style, mood and tempo. If you supply lyrics, structure them with labels such as verse and chorus. Generate a few versions and keep the best.
Rights
Suno’s help centre says Pro and Premier plans include full commercial rights. Terms differ by plan and change over time, so read the current terms before publishing a song commercially.
Who should use it
