Suno introduced v6 on September 9, 2026. It calls it a new generation of music models, developed with industry partners including Warner Music Group, BMG and Believe.
The three models
- v6: the flagship, for Pro and Premier subscribers.
- v6-wild: built for exploration, with more unexpected results, for Pro and Premier subscribers.
- v6-mini: a faster, more efficient version available to everyone.
Rights
Suno’s help centre says Pro and Premier plans include full commercial rights. Rules differ by plan, so read Suno’s current terms before using a song commercially.
Why it matters
Suno says v6 is meant to lay the foundation for new products that open up revenue opportunities across the music ecosystem, and that it has added safeguards to screen uploaded audio and lyrics for unauthorized use.
