our take

For graphics where exact wording and placement matter most, start with Ideogram. For images that mix text with detailed scenes or when you already use ChatGPT, GPT Image is convenient. Proofread text in both.

Text inside images used to be the weak spot of AI generators. Both tools now treat it as a core feature, but they are built for different workflows.

How to test

Ask both for a poster with a short phrase in quotation marks, then compare spelling, spacing and style. Try three phrases of different lengths and one in another language.
